Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE Michael Costello!! Like many of us, he is someone who relentlessly followed his dream and is now living it every day. I live for Michael Costello’s designs. He knows how to dress women so well. His dresses are so lovely, the fabrics are like a dream, the cuts are beyond flattering and every time I see one I instinctively want to sketch it. Like this one:

 

 

 

I spotted this little number on Michael Costello’s Instagram page. It’s his latest Little Black Dress and I just about died when I saw it in my timeline. It is beautiful. So naturally I did what I do and illustrated it on the fab XiXi Yang.

OMG!! Seriously!! Who takes the time to do something so sweet?? The fact that they thought of me, knowing how much I admire him as an artist, and took the time to take this video and email it to me speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. I know it’s only a 15 second video but it totally made my night and makes me adore both of them even more. You guys rock!!
