Nicole uses fashion and beauty illustration as a way to celebrate inclusivity, spread joy, and make all women feel special, beautiful, empowered, and SEEN.
“When I started illustrating 15 years ago, I couldn’t find women who looked like me anywhere. Women of color, along with women of a certain age or size, were all but invisible. So, at first, it merely started as a way for me to champion and celebrate people in a space where we were constantly ignored. Fast forward to present day, whatever shape my work takes, whether I’m doing an ad campaign, editorial spread, children’s book, or personalized illustration, that same sentiment is always at the core, I just want the folks who see it to know that I see them, and that they are special, valued, and celebrated.”
