As an illustrator I live to draw beautiful things, namely beautiful faces and beautiful clothes. Part of that means that at any given time, in any given place I can be inspired. I typically never know when it will be except during award show season. Award shows never disappoint! You have designers putting their most beautiful creations on stars who have spent hours getting gussied up for our viewing pleasure. I can never wait to see who’s wearing who!! The 2015 Golden Globes did not disappoint! This year the designers were not playing around and the actors who graced the carpet last night were dressed to the nines. But there were 2 that literally took my breath away.
My runner up for Best Dressed of the night: Kate Hudson!
Kate stunned on the red carpet in a plunging Versace gown with side cut outs and Brian Atwood ‘Tribecca’ heels. Straight Glamour. No Chaser. Absolutely. Gorgeous.
The woman who was absolutely the best dressed actor on the carpet, in my opinion, wore something so atypical for the red carpet and it to say it was refreshing would be an understatement.
My pick for Best Dressed: Emma Stone!
Emma turned the carpet upside down in this gorgeous Lanvin jumpsuit. From the beautifully structured sequined bodice to the dramatic floor length bow, this jumpsuit completely flips what is red carpet appropriate and what isn’t. You better’ work Emma!
